POEM: MY LOVE, I SEE YOUR FACE AND SIGH
Dedicated to my love, Scott A. Diiorio
My love, I see your face and sigh
From deep inside begin to cry
And tears of joy instead of pain
Fall down my face like gentle rain
Love, you are my lightning rod
My staff, that grounds me to the sod
Your laughter like the playful stream
Reminding me, love's not a dream
You live your life here, in the now
Focused on What, Where and How
With you past pain begins to fade
And fears of future, yet unmade
With Bodhisattva's zealous love
Like rays of sunlight from above
My eyes you open to the light
And rescue me from Ego's night
Upon your flute sweet melodies
With tenderness my heart do seize
And open up my eyes to see
The tender soul that dwells in thee
And when you sing with soul so rare
And once again your heart you share
I feel infused with warm sweet wine
Intense desire to make you mine
Within your arms, in love's embrace
Your gentle kisses on my face
Your arms so strong, that hold me tight
With peace, not tears, to face the night
Oh dearest, I require no more
To know what future holds in store
Just being with you day to day
Is all I need to find the way
