Born in Southern California, Educated at Stanford, UCLA and BYU. Buddhist and Sentientarian. Former Christian and Latter-day Saint / Mormon and deeply thankful for that and all my experiences. Deeply concerned for the happiness, well-being and sustainable harmonious felicity of all humanity and of all life on Earth and throughout the cosmos.

You might wonder why I call myself a Sentientarian rather than a Humanitarian. This relatively new English term includes humanitarian concerns and also reflects compassion in feeling, concern and action for the benefit not only of the human race, but of all forms of conscious life and for the whole of the biosphere that is our home and earthly family. And by extension, a sentientarian would exercise the same compassion and concern for any form or community of living or sentient beings we might encounter elsewhere in the universe.
