BOOKS

 

As a boy, I saw my father reading a book called The Hobbit. With curiosity, I asked him what it was about. And thus began a lifelong love affair with the works of J.R.R. Tolkien and with the world of fantasy literature. Later the film works of George Lucas would expand that into the world of epic science fiction. By the time I was in high schools, not only had I internalized these works and others, I had begun to write. Pages of lined notepaper exploded with stories of fantasy and science fiction adventure.

Over the decades since then, the muse visited me from time to time, and stories emerged and a writing style developed and evolved. During this same time I was also evolving as a person, away from a rigid identity and outlook, defined by upbringing and organized religion, toward the embrace of self discovery and inner truth. In this process, I discovered I held the keys to my own happiness and could unlock that with acceptance of self and others. These emerging authentic values found expression in my writing as well.

I joyfully share my creations and invite my earthly siblings to immerse themselves in worlds of my imagination and to bring their own imagination to bear in that experience.
